A 2018 warm welcome to all our SAPA members and all principals of schools in and around South Africa.
Our Theme for the year is “Accelerating Growth”.
We challenged ourselves and all loyal SAPA members to work towards making our association more meaningful to school leaders and those aspiring to be principals of schools. Together we would like to give reasons why principals should join SAPA and should remain with SAPA. Strong leaders of the association have started to improve their services to members and become more visible provincially and regionally. Provincial programmes are in place and will soon be uploaded to our website.
SAPA would like to congratulate all secondary schools who made the TOP 100 of the best Matric results in 2017. We also congratulate a number of SAPA Principals who are the provincial winners of the National Teaching Awards 2017. They represented their provinces nationally and SAPA wishes them the very best as they look forward to the national results that will be announced in the upcoming awards ceremony.
2017 International Confederation of Principals (ICP) Conference that was held in Cape Town ICC left us with great memories. SAPA is proud to be the host of such magnificent international event. Hundreds of local and international delegates who attended the conference applauded the level and the high standard of the conference.
2018 SAPA National Conference will be held in the North West Province at the Sun City. Details of the event will be posted on our website in due time.

In the end, it is important to remember that good leader cannot become great leaders by remaining where they are and doing what they always do. Leadership is an action, not a position. SAPA provides you with great ideas to actively become a great leader. Be an active part of a GREAT ORGANIZATION: SAPA.
WISHING ALL PRINCIPALS IN SOUTH AFRICA, SUCCESSFUL AND PEACEFUL SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY ELECTIONS AND EXCELLENT ACADEMIC RESULTS THROUGH THE YEAR 2018.
